that is an echo........ ok I'm a record collector.....new here.....what about it?  I collect (right now) stereo 45s of pop hits like
4 seasons - opus 17
c. berry - no particular place to go

which we have heard over the years a million times but never in stereo...... weird ain't it?  a great deal of songs are on 45 in stereo.  So I thought I'd tell you where I'm at.

I found this page by accident thru looking up SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE....... I had the original record in 68 (I am old) & saw them live at the Electric Circus in NY in 68......they played the same songs on the album.  One of the greatest 60's records.  I lost the record over the years & was lucky to find a cassette of it in a gas station...made in holland....sounds great - I use it in my car.  I don't know if I am right but I believe this record was a precursor of the demonic sound which reflect the influence of political events of the moment.  there is a song - I'm so glad - in which I believe is depicted the us army being defeated - the intro - depicts this.......in my opinion.....I am a great fan of british invasion music.  & movies.  Smile

I'm not quite as crusty as you, but I still collect LP's and have all my original 45's. Chuck Berry and the original copy of Shades included. When it comes to the demonic sound you speak of, I can't help looking at Blue Cheer. Man where they nasty for their day or what?Tongue
Here I'm shadowed by a dragon fig tree's fan
ringed by ants and musing over man.
