Thanks Guigo,
The plan is to display in the album pages only the Collabs reviews +
Either/Both:
- Last 5 reviews - Top 5 voted as best review (for non-collabs) : more complex though
And to have a PAGE where all the reviews / ratings of a specific album should be showed.
Ideas, suggestions ?

Well .... this doesnt' seem to have had any takers so I guess I'd better get the ball rolling.
First: make all collaborators review their old reviews and remove those that do not come up to scratch. There are
some poor old ones, even from collabs.
Second: significantly increase the minimum viewable review size - eg 200 words. This will eliminate short reviews as well as most of the poor ones. Do this only where there are already more than a fixed number of reviews, eg 20 or whatever .....
..... Third: if there are still more than the agreed maximum number of reviews, specialist collab(s) to weed and prune until the ceiling is reached
OR simply keep the last x-number of reviews to maintain the maximum and remove older ones. [snag - what if the maximum is reached by all Collab reviews? - no non-Collab review will ever get shown unless they are all treated the same]
Fourth: don't actually delete any old or unused reviews (or unworthy), but as Max suggests above, have an extra page where ALL reviews can be accessed, no matter how small or unworthy. Thus, the main album page will have a smaller selection of the most comprehensive and useful reviews, with a button to access all the rest.
Fifth: INCREASE the weighting differential for the ratings. Suggestion -
x1 no review
x2 short review non-Collab (eg <200 words)
x3 long review non-Collab (eg 200> words)
x4 short review Collab (eg <200 words)
x5 long review Collab (eg 200> words)
Sixth: perhaps you should acknowledge that some people write
Reviews while others simply want to post
Comments. So, from now onwards, people should be given the choice: either write a full and proper review, with an enforced minimum word count, which must adhere to the site guidelines and would be eligible to appear on the main album page which is moderated and maintained by the specialist Collabs; or write a shorter set of comments which obviously must not be defammatory or objectionable but which otherwise can be given more latitude, and which will go to the secondary Comments page. Both would appear, as now, on the front page while it is new.
Well .... those are my thoughts as an ordinary member, for what they are worth. I hope they are of interest to somebody.
