   About 3 weeks ago I discovered Porcupine Tree and was totally blown away by a band that is IMHO the future of prog and as good as anything from the 1970's.
Imagine my chagrin when I noticed that 10 days ago they were playing about 6 miles from me and I missed them

Has this ever happened to anyone else who discovered a band and then missed a local gig or missed a classic gig by one of their favourite bands
