I'm new here. Let me first say, that I love progressive rock/metal. I also like classic rock, some "heavy" or 80's/ 90's metal (Iron Maiden, Iced Earth and such), and "goth metal", like May I Cry, End of You, Stream of Passion, etc.

My favourite prog bands are;

Ayreon
Porcupine Tree
Evergrey

Ayreon, Porcupine Tree and Evergrey are three of my MOST favorite bands!!!

hey. i havent got a a chance to listen to Porcupine Tree and Evergrey yet but ayreon is one of my favorites too. oh and BTW if you like iced earth,maiden, you should listen to blind guardian (if you havent) they are realy good. their latest albums are quite proggy actually. have you heard demons and wizards? iced earth/blind guardian hybrid. power metal + prog. cool

Blind Guardian's really good, and I like D&W the best of the three. it's both combined xD I just got the new two disk set thing "Touched by the Crimson King" I think, and it's very good.
