Hi.

I am looking for Québécois prog, not french, but québecois, with french vocals preferably. I am aware of Jacob Roberge, who I think made a decent album. But if you have older stuff, I am interested.

Symphonic prog:
Morse Code, particularly their 1975-1977 albums: https://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=1112

JR/F:

Avant-prog:

Heavy prog:

Eclectic and kind of obscure, but English vocals:

Neo-prog, sort of like early Marillion; also English vocals:

This. Harmonium without question. Si on avait besoin d'une cinquième saison and L'Heptade are both brilliant.

Et Cetera

Excellent one-off band with female lead vocals (Marie Bernard Pagé) as well as male (Denis Chartrand); essentially, a Québécois Gentle Giant.

Atsuko Chiba: Progressive and post-rock blended with post-punk
Perséide: Really more psych than prog, but their album Parmi les arbres is pretty proggy

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
