   Has anyone else heard this?
My local classical music station played a single movement of this work, and I was so blown away that I immediately ordered the CD online. It arrived yesterday, and the entire 24-minute work left me completely floored. This recording features Evelyn Glennie and Jonathan Haas as the soloists, with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Gerard Schwarz. Not for the faint of heart, this piece has almost too much timpani for words to describe!
