Clue : Ron Jarzombek plays in the style of Allan Holdsworth and his music is mainly progressive-metal.

Watchtower

Spastic Ink

&

Gordian Knot.

I'm not familiar with the first two, however, KC lovers will be happy to find Gordian Knot. Trey Gunn and John Myung guest. Both cd's are stunning and Bruford guest on the second one: Emergent.

Spastic Ink's 'Ink complete' is really mind-blowing, one of the better instrumental metal-prog I ever heard. Lots of odd-time signatures and virtuosic guitar.
