Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 70 year old newbie to this forum. I used to be mainly interested in jazz (both contemporary and classic) when a friend introduced me to post-rock. From there it's all history. Though I'm a still a jazz lover, my main focus is post-rock, math-rock, dark ambient, and a few others I don't what they classify their genre under. Hope to join a few conversations. Not a musician, but would love to be one. I'm untalented in that realm, but I have the ear to know good music when I hear (though the family says I'm deaf). LOL

Welcome, I'm deaf to those who think the music they like is better than what I like. I also am into post-rock and dark ambient music, as well as jazz. Good to have you here and hope to be discussing music with you and sharing notes, even if not musical notes, in the future.
