The self-titled album by Symphonic Slam stands to me as an underrated
symphonic art-rock masterpiece. Notably, it is the earliest album I have
encountered that features the innovative guitar synthesiser played by
Timo Laine, which adds a unique sonic texture to its compositions.🎶🎸
Amongst
the highlights of this celestial offering is the ethereal and timeless
ballad "Everytime." 🌌✨ This song sums up a sense of grandeur and
otherworldliness that resonates deeply with listeners, making it a
standout moment on an already impressive record from 1976. ✨ 🌠 |

Al DiMeola used guitar synths occasionally. Here is one occasion.

The guitar synth also played a minor role on "Somewhere In Time" by Iron Maiden and "Turbo" by Judas Priest.

The guitar synth in "Out in the Cold" on Turbo was pretty cool. |
