   Hey all!
On the 12th of June, norwegian prog-pop band SHINE released their first new single in over 3 years, and the first song in the group`s new "era" or "phase".

Led by frontman and songwriter Christoffer Behn, SHINE is a genre-bending pop explosion. Modern pop and indie rock meet the sound of the "good old days." It's an eclectic mix where no sound or genre is wrong. Synth-pop and indie meet prog-rock, metal, and jazz-fusion, blending with electronica. New + old, modern + retro. Completely its own. Completely unique. No genre, it's just Shine!
The song "The Best Is Yet To Come" is a shining piece of pop music, richly instrumented with a whole world of synthesizers, electric guitars, bass pedals, retro drum hits, cello, and massive harmonies. The modern pop sensibility hits in the chorus, while the bridge and solo open up a space reminiscent of the art-rock days of the '70s and '80s.
