Sprain is an experimental rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2018 by Alex Kent and April Gerloff. In the early years of the band they took major influence from Slowcore bands such as DUSTER and LOW, but with the band's sophomore release, they would greatly improve by further expanding their sounds with influences of Post Rock, Noise, Darkwave, Avant Prog and No Wave, with their second and final release "The Lamb As Effigy". The albums sound could catch the ears of any BLACK MIDI or SWANS fan. And while the band is unfortunately broken up they've left with two incredible albums that will surely leave them with a legacy amongst music fans
