Greetings to all here on Progarchives Smile
my name is Claudio Milano, better known as NichelOdeon.

After numerous difficulties with my old account here on the forum, I created a new one and deleted the old one.

I am self-promoting my latest album which was released in very few copies (some of them are retrievable globally via Egea, but my Bandcamp remains the only possibility of funding my work).

Below is a press release about my recent double album 'ManifestAzioni':

Anyone who might be interested in reviewing it can write to me at [email protected] or here on Progarchives.
I will send you a physical copy of the CD or a link to download it in mp3 or wav at your discretion.

Happy evening to all and I will be happy to reply to those who wish to contact me.

PRESS RELEASE

Claudio Milano
"ManifestAzioni"

An album from Italy, dedicated to international literature (Dante Alighieri, Leo Zanier, Bertolt Brecht/Kurt Weill, Nikolai Rainov, Giuseppe Ungaretti, Derek Jarman, Alan Bennett, Conon de Béthune, Franco Battiato) and featuring some of the greatest Italian and international protagonists of the past and recent underground music.

The definitive live album of a singer and performer of extended vocals techniques including only unreleased.

A parterre of noble fellow travellers: Giovanni Floreani with Strepitz Open Project, Gian Paolo Tofani Krsna Prema Das and Ares Tavolazzi (Area International POPular Group), Walter Calloni (Premiata Forneria Marconi), Vincenzo Zitello (Franco Battiato, Il Telaio Magnetico), Evaristo Casonato, Raoul Moretti, Marco Tuppo, Ermes Ghirardini, Luca Casiraghi, Paolo Viezzi, Cristina Sybell Spadotto, Gerardo Ferrara, Eugenioprimo Saragoni, the famous contemporary classical soprano Giulia Zaniboni, Francesca Badalini, Andrea Grumelli (Aether), Luca Casiraghi and Arrington De Dionyso of Old Time Relijun.

Theatre/voice in a perfoming arts sense.

Two hours of avant prog music recorded between all of Italy and France between 2011 and 2023, in a selection of one-track mixing recordings from hundreds of those made.

Different projects, the same libertarian spirit in search of something barely definable.

Folk, ethno, rock, avant-garde, electronic, ambient, jazz fusion, early and contemporary classical.

Music from the Middle Ages to the present day with great passion for that 20th century (and the first twenty years of classical and jazz in the 2000s) that ended up in a drawer as something uncomfortable and to be forgotten, in the presumption of a linearity of progress and history that is in fact the greatest lie of the contemporary world.

An album to 'leaf through', not just listen to (the ultra-limited edition includes a photobook).

No track here will have no counterpart in future studio releases.

The languages sung?

Modern and medieval Italian, German, Latin, Greek, ancient French with a pronunciation far removed from that of today, Gaelic, contemporary and patriarchal Friulian, Sicilian dialect, grammelot.

Waiting for your kind reply
