Now What?!  Is that a Black Knight I see beside the lake or have I gone completely Bananas  and it's alll just Smoke on the Water? Yes, it's time to hark back to those halcyon days of the late '60's and early '70's when I was just a Child in Time and we were all Perfect Strangers and  when to "Burn" an album meant simply to throw it onto the fire and not to make a copy of it on your laptop. Tongue

It's all been quiet on the polling front for awhile and then Whoosh!, three Top 7 lists arrive all at once in the Infinite variety of polls and lists. And so, here's your chance to list your Top 7 Deep Purple albums below and then Purpendicular to that, choose your favourite songs from each of those seven albums. Just like this....

03. 4 stars 1969: Deep Purple - Concerto for Group & Orchestra - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnA1IMnLZr4

The Songs

01. Smoke on the Water
02. River Deep, Mountain High
03. Symphony No. 6
04. Mandrake Root
05. April
06. Child in Time
07. Perfect Strangers

[In Chronological Order - DP Mark I and Mark II only]

Mandrake Root
Wring That Nock
April
Child in Time
Fireball
Lazy
Woman from Tokyo

Special mention for the excellent non-album tracks 'Strange Kind of Woman' which these days usually turns up as a bonus track (along with its B-side 'I'm Alone') to the Fireball album, and 'Black Night' again now a bonus track on most re-releases of 'Deep Purple in Rock'.
