Topic: Mallard "In a Different Climate" Posted: October 14 2005 at 19:20 |
I found this album in a used record store and just bought it out of curiosity.
Awesome! One of the best albums I ever bought for two bucks! After listening, it's priceless.
Turns out there are a couple of former Beefheart members here and there
self titled first album "Mallard" was financed by Ian Anderson!

Yeah I've seen the Mallard albums around; they did two, the name of the other one escapes me now. I'll get em one day to add to my Beefheart collection- they came from the era when the Captain went 'commercial' with albums like 'Bluejeans And Moonbeams' that I actually like!

Their 1st Lp was titled Mallard. I have it as well. It is not nearly as good as "In a Different Climate".
