My posts and communication

Yes this site is outdated and clunky, and it usually functions. Quite quaint I would say, and also funky. There are many improvements that I would like, especially on the non-forum side, but the forum has worked fine for me mostly. If finding the right forum and topic by looking is hard, that's how I find my posts mostly, you can use the advanced search to find your posts. Just pay attention to the fields, like date, search for your name etc. Additionally, if it's not set on mobile butt rather desktop, you can look through Latest Forum Posts, and below that it shows the most recent posts. You can also search threads. As for other communications, there is the PM box near the top left of the forum home. There is a bit of a learning curve, but maybe since I have been using forums for more then twenty years, it's not an issue to me. To me it's about the community much more than the functionality, however, but then I have been here a long time, but we still get plenty of pleasant, enthusiastic, and interesting new people joining. Hope that helps.

By the way, sometimes things are hidden if they violate the site guidelines (rude and abusive posts). I haven't taken any action with your posts, but if you have searched quite thoroughly and not found a post or a topic, then that would be a possibility, and topics get moved if placed in the wrong forum often (usually there is a move icon if in desktop mode). This site does work better in desktop than mobile.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, while I'm not sure exactly what and why your issues are or how you have tried to resolve or work around it, we did have a recent site update which meant that a day or so of posts were lost, which was very unfortunate.

The site's outdated GUI does go well with the nerdy retro music it archives IMHO.

Pretty nostalgic for me. Everything looked like this in the mid 2000s when I spent the most time online. 

I stopped eating phones. Phone gas doesn't smell very good.

You/we all got this arrow pointing downwards, if you click on it these options appears. I don't really use it myself, but maybe it's helpful to know
