Another Shuffle-up of about 13000 tracks! (decided I still like to post them, though probably not as often as I used to). I'm really curious to see how the TFTO piece stands up to these other great tracks... Edited by zwordser - October 11 2021 at 14:52 |

The Ancient ---crazy piece of music and really one of the best composed classical pieces of music of the 4 sides
(a classical composer who listened to the album with me--told me that)

I tend to find TFTO annoying, but The Ancient on its own works quite well. Here it loses out very tightly to the great Herbie Hancock track - if it didn't have three votes already it may even have won.

Yep, I've noticed PA members are really split on TFTO (lotta love-hate), that's why I was curious how this poll might turn out. I've never been a big fan of the album myself, but I'm at a point where it has really grown on me the past year, especially Giants... (included in an epic sampler (practice) vid I made-- posted on Vimeo right now). So I still haven't decided on a vote yet. That Herbie album is also a classic of sort, and the other tracks are also pretty good. So, I dunno yet...

I vote for Triumvirat. By the way, great songs in this poll.

Finally decided on a tossup between Giants... and Survival, but decided to go with Herbie, as Yes has/had taken a big lead. Triumvirat next; the other two great tracks: about equal I think.
