I'm really stoked about this - thanks for posting!  That advance single of the title track is great, the record cover is epic, and I love this band.  Raoul and the Kings of Spain is one of my very favorite recordings.

I really love this band, and I'm happy to see them coming back after all these years.

But the new single (the title track) is quite ordinary IMO. Not bad, but nothing special.

Hoping the rest of the album will be more exciting!

On a recent road trip i listened to both The Hurting and Songs From The Big Chair, 2 of my favorite 80s albums however nothing after those two albums has ever been even close to as perfect as those two albums.

I very much doubt this one will be either but hopefully it will have a killer track or two.

I agree that these were also two of my favorite 80's albums, but I also found "Sowing the Seeds of Love", the 3rd album was also quite excellent with some really great musicianship and even better composition than before, though I know a lot of people thought it was a bit too complex for some reason.  After that, their albums never really appealed to me as much as the first three.

^ I agree with Mike: the first three are the best, but I also like Everybody Loves a Happy Ending from 2004, which has several interesting tracks, such as Who Killed Tangerine?, The DevilSecret World and Ladybird.

I'd like to give a big Shout out to my favourite Tears for Fears album: the Beatlesque Sowing the Seeds of Love. Heart

^^ Everybody Loves a Happy Ending sounds pretty Beatlesque too (maybe filtered by others, like the Liverpool Express).
