Wow, Lyle Holdahl... that brings back memories. I bought his Prog and Prog 2 CDs directly from mp3.com. Really obscure stuff. So, they're worth around $50 nowadays? That's amazing! I guess I better hold onto my copies of these.
Everything ever issued by mp3.com is rare because they were all made on-demand. I know this because I released my first four studio albums and a compilation album on that site. I doubt no more than a dozen copies of each of my first four was ever issued. I also know that only three copies of my compilation (The Great Big Dog Biscuit) were ever made and I know who owns each copy: a fellow musician who was a guest vocalist on my fourth album, Lock Haven University's Stevenson Library in Pennsylvania, and myself. Here's the catalog record for the library's copy: Sorry for the digression. Anyway, interesting stuff. I'll try and do a deeper dive later this week and maybe I'll find something that catches my fancy.

Now that's very cool. I used to promote Lyle on MP3.com via that NewMusicArmy thing. Never thot I'd find anybody that knew about his material. Hope you find something interesting in your deep dive. All digressions welcome . . . now playing: Johannes Zetterberg's Luna Nueva
