New member - and question about forum

Scritti Politti is so great and perhaps typifies the genre. Definitely listen to Cupid & Psyche 85 if you haven’t. Also don’t miss Hats by The Blue Nile. Bands that get a lot of love in my sophisti-pop fb group include Running in the Family-era Level 42, ABC, Avalon-era Roxy Music, later Japan. So many others. Prefab Sprout is the best, though they are more unique, atypical for sophisti-pop.
