hello everyone,
first sorry for my broken English, i do speak French much better ! my story with prog started when i was 13, my cousin offered me my first LP, Meddle, we where in 75. In 78 my first concert was Harmonium/Supertramp in Geneva, all my money was going into LPs and concerts, Led Zep, Genesis, Zappa, Miles, Floyd, Montreux was not far, and many many more... then in 95, after my last concert of Crimson, i decided to leave Europe to settle down in Asia, I sold everything, my car, my 1000 LPs collection, and today I'm still there... So now, I'm into different styles of music, Electro, D&B, IDM, (Culprate is an amazing producer not so far from prog if you hear Deliverance or Colours, 2 great albums) I'm still a huge fan of Crimson, and discovering now all those live recording, from the collector club or their multiple Boxes. great staff !!! and i love the 2000-2003 period too, and the ProjeKcts. as well all this amazing time of Italian Prog that I missed when i was young. I join You here to discover more prog music, i want to discover new bands, new sound, the 21 century Fusion/Eclectic/Rock/Jazz/Prog sound, I'm not so nostalgic, I want to go further not back... I started already (today) with music i found here like 4/3 Trio, Seamus, Pyramid Theorem, The Mars Volta.... interesting .... If you have suggestion of bands, into fusion/Prog with good Drum-Bass, and original modern sound, something new and original, i will be happy to discover them ... voila, i think i've been long enough, probably too long, thank you for reading me, Love to all!!!! |

Welcome! Since you like Crimson and their ProjeKct thingies, you might like Sonar (from Switzerland!) and Stephan Thelen's work. And if you want it in French, I can warmly recommend you any album by Lazuli. Happy exploring here on PA
