Why is Tull's "A Passion Play" rated so low?

Take the hare out then. The 2 forest dances merge together. The remix version is half a star better. Go get it and it’s close to taab Quality
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Agreed, I love the way it's spoken. I've just got back from holiday and I listened to APP half a dozen times with headphones lying by a hotel pool. I hadn't really listened properly before but giving it full concentration certainly paid dividends.
