Hello all proggers of all sorts!

I registered today. So nice to see that there remain so many prog addicts despite a continuous and meticulous total eradication war organized by all music media against prog from 1977 onward!

Well! I started listening to prog when prog started to exist, that is somewhere between 1967 and 1969. A 52 years old kid I am.

It has some good points: I could attend concerts of most of the "dinosaurs" when they were young. I have original vinyls of most Genesis, Yes, KC, Gentle Giant, Earth and Fire, Barclay James Harvest, Van der Graaf Generator...to quote a few. And around 500 CDs of the genre.

Though not professional (I am a scientist actually), I listened to a lot of prog records.

My favourite period remains the "fab ten" (1967-1976). But I could pick-up some good stuff in neo-prog and in the prog revival wave of the 90's.

I also enjoy listening to classic rock and indie rock. Can we hate something in music? I think so: I hate disco and rap.
