Well, seeing that neither Greenback nor Logos had any personal fights on that page, I thought the problem was more or less resolved. That is why I though it was a bit random.

The whole "earthquake in Pakistan" reference, however tragic, was random, though, don't you think?

It was to demonstrate the fact that there are more important things worhty of our concern,don't you think?

Yes it is worthy of our concern, but as I've said in some of MarktheShark's threads, we can talk about how tragic and destructive something is, but that's all we can really do: talk. We, as just a few citizens of whatever country, have little influence in larger matters.
