I know it is not prog but it is related. I am also a jazz freak and here are some of the shows that I have bought tickets for or am going to attend because many of them are free! Last night I saw Johnny Clegg and local Blues guitar wizard Jimmy James. Jim Gaten would have had an orgasm over the Hammond organ Player. Just mind blowing.

Here`s what is on my list:

Al Di Mieola, Jean luc ponty & Stanley Clarke.

 

larry Coryell, Badi Assad& John Abercrombie

 

Kieth Jarrett, Gary Peacock& Jack DeJohnette

 

Guy Nadon et son Grande Orchestre

Chick Corea Elektrik Band

Alain Caron

Plus I am looking forward to the Rush Dream theater show. Montreal is an exciting music city.

Was that the Rite of Strings tour?

I really loved that album, another lost through crappy days and low funds......
