Here is something I typed up that might speed up user's album additions when dealing with adding tracklists to the album info here on PA. The program basically runs on assumptions about an txt file with album info that look like
'Order TrackName Minutes:Seconds' or 'Trackname Minutes:Seconds' and fixes it up into a nice format and calculates the total time. In a nutshell, it does this:
So if you've been doing it manually like I did until now, this might tickle your fancy. It's not perfect, and I might make improvements for in the future if I come up with easier ways to handle the problems. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Download Link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/j0alm1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AFT 1.4 instructions: 1.Run the 'runAFT.cmd' program. 2.The file input.txt where you paste the track list (from bandcamp, discogs, rym...) will pop up automatically. Paste it, save, and close just the notepad file. 3.The program will run the formatting and open the resulting track list in out.txt. Then you can copy it and close the file and the command window that has been running the batch will close on its own too. 4.Input.txt is made blank automatically when the result is given so no need for manual erasing for the next tracklist. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited by historian9 - September 12 2015 at 13:59 |
