Since we have allowed more freedom to first-time posters etc. I find some of the threads are being progressively hi-jacked, one of them being the Free mp3 from artists in PA one.
I would suggest some proper clean-up or enhanced policing so that thread (and other threads) don't lose their intended meaning - unless we want to change that intended meaning. Thanks |

Can you sight an example of what you mean by 'Hi-jacked'?

Sure - people posting youtube clips and stream links not relevant to the purpose of the thread - I can count 3-4 posts only in that page of the thread which have nothing to do with the purpose of it - i.e. free downloads from bands in PA.

I see three. Jason Denkevitz of Steam Theory included Youtube links of the singles for which he also provides the download link. Franky, GuyM and NickFizzle1212 seem to have used that as a trigger to start posting streaming links instead of downloads.

That seems a pretty minor distinction to me. Hearing a song or watching it's video on YouTube vs downloading the mp3 file. Isn't it all about exposure to music? BTW, for what' it's worth, with a simple software, you can record what you hear on YouTube and make your own mp3.
