any recommendations of bands that sound like Porcupine Tree?

 

And what about their album Deadwing??

The only one I know of theirs is In Absentia and (others here may disagree) it reminds me of Snow by Spock's Beard, in that they tend to have a proggy riff/instrumental bit and then go into a melody which could be, if taken in isolation, from a non-prog band.

For instance, there is a track on Snow CD1 which sounds like Crowded House to me (can't remember which one off hand).
