If some of Svetonio's suggestions have caused a bit of a stink around here, then this one certainly will!!!
Man, there's some detuned, distorted riffs & chords in there for sure...or maybe they're rips and turds? LOL - I guess this'll be instantly blown across to the 'Just for Fun' forum. Edit: Definitely prog though...The TeamRock boys (who produce our 'Prog' magazine) have given it their undisputed seal of approval: http://www.teamrock.com/news/2014-09-23/fart-metal-is-a-thing-now.

Hey - No, man...! This is art rock with a capital 'F'!! I was literally blown away when I heard these guys do this sh*t live at last year's 'Battle of The Bands' event. So okay, they might let the occasional bum note slip out from time to time, but their performance was raw and full of passion, and the atmosphere they created was magnifi-scent. They totally knocked the crap out of the competition, none of whom got even a sniff of the top prize, and were formerly known as 'Stratto Caster and the Botty Burps', coming turd in one of the local heats of the 2012 'America's got Talent' contest.
I think that wind instruments have an important role to play in today's progressive rock music scene, and I am going to nominate this act in the 'Breakthrough' category at next year's Orange Amplification Progressive Music Awards...I reckon they could quite easily come up trumps...

He should have done Air on a G String metal style.
There is progressive fart rock and metal, but this does not sound like progressive fart metal to me either. It ended on a sour note, but not as sour as with Mr. Methane (now there's a flatulist). Moved to the Just For Fumes forum. |

LOL! So much for the 'windscreen' on that microphone!! - It didn't work at all! I hope they took it off and washed it afterwards!
Edit: Actually there was a famous Frenchman who could 'fart' like this at will named Joseph Pujol (aka Le Pétomane), who lived from 1857 to 1945: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_P%C3%A9tomane. Pujol was able to breathe through his arse and then control the release of the air with his anal sphincter muscles. He performed to large crowds at the Moulin Rouge in Paris from 1892 to 1894 before setting up his own travelling show called the 'Theatre Pompadour': Edited by yam yam - September 24 2014 at 21:38 |
