Hello prog fans!

I am a 23-year-old french girl looking for new prog bands to listen to, which is pretty hard to find since I have few time to dedicate to my search (and as I am also very demanding with the voices Tongue ; if I don't like a voice, it's impossible for me to listen to the song...).
I listen to bands like Opeth, Karnivool, Madder Mortem, Ayreon, Dream Theater (only the old ones...), etc..

Hello and welcome!
Spend a little time with us, and you're sure to find all kinds of new bands you didn't know about.  I still do.

Welcome to PA.  Just a thought, but based on the bands you have listed, you may want to check out The Safety Fire.  You might like them, unless of course, the voices turn you off.

Thanks :)
Well, I don't really like that kind of bands, nope :p But thank you anyway!
Which band made you think I could like it? Karnivool?

Yes.  They remind me a bit of Karnivool.

Hey,

Thanks, really enjoyed Flaming Row indeed! I like Magali's voice so much, it's nice to hear something new with her!
Thanks for the discovery! ;)

A nice little website you probably should check out is www.progstreaming.com, a quick and easy way to keep track of all sorts of new prog stuff released. They don't cover everything by far, but 300-500 titles yearly have their limited spell there as free streams before they are taken down again. It's a nice way to sample the music, easy and user-friendly.
Websites I work with:

Another recommendation on progressive metal/rock: Caligula's Horse (Australia).
