Topic: QUESS THE BAND - A Photo Quiz. Try it, it's fun! Posted: May 11 2014 at 04:40 |
Hello folks!
After the big success of my previous post with the Prog-quiz, here's one more for you! Ok, this time it's not about Progressive Rock only, but about Rock in general. I think it's less mind-breaking than the other one, and it's surely more fun! So, here's the deal: It has about 30 questions (if I remember well), and on each question you see a pictute of a band. Next to the picture there are the names of 5 bands and you should pick the right one. That's it! And at the end of course you can see your score. It sounds very easy, but in some cases is rather tricky It kind of requires general knowledge in Rock music, and not in some precific category though. I uploaded a small post about it on my blog, and there you can find the link in order to try it if you want. you can check it here: http://gfreedomathina.blogspot.gr/2014/05/guess-band-photo-quiz.html I hope you'll find it interesting and enjoyable. Good Luck! |

My exact score as well, and probably for the same reason, way outside my listening circle.

Humorously, I don't own albums from 100% of these bands. Although I did own a Ramones album once.

If you are reffering to another quiz I posted a few days ago, then no. It's not the same quiz. The other one was 100% Progressive, and this one is about Rock in general. |

I scored a whopping 15% with no guessing. Most of those pics look like MTV acts, not rock bands. And Davy Jones? Really? The three I got correct only serve to reveal my age.

I seem to be at the top of the game here at 85%. Definitely a rocker. The ones I missed were all punkers, so I don't really care, although I correctly identified The Ramones. The 80s were strongly represented, too much so.

Another epic fail. Only 9 good answers. It seems that the visual aspect of rock is not my cup of tea, especially when the focus is on some genres with which I am not so deeply involved.

85 not bad, many were a process of elimination as I knew who they weren't, kind of surprised I didn't recognize Cliff Burton

all that conclusively proved was that my knowledge of the Raymoans and oiks with tattoos is non-existent.
...and that's not going to change any time soon.

70%...but guessed on at least 4 or 5.
Lot of metal bands...very little about actual classic rock bands.
