Hi, I noticed that all of the former Genesis band members pretty much all went off to make great/successful albums (especially the first 4 listed). Just wanted to know which is your favourite of all of them Smile Personally, mine is The Geese And The Ghost - I loved Anthony Phillip's contribution to the first 2 Genesis albums.

Thanks for any feedback! Tongue

Geese is a fine album, but nothing on this list comes close to the majesty that is VOTA..

Steve, Mike, Anthony, Peter, Tony, Phil, in that order.

Ant and Hackett are very close. While Hackett's is much prog and complex in term of musical ideas, Ant's output is more emotional and intense IMO. I will choose The Geese and the Ghost because of the emotions I feel when I listen to it !

Hackett, hands down. How is it 'Face Value' has no votes - honestly, it's not a bad album (at least I prefer it to Banks' and Gabriel's first solo albums).

Geese and Ghost is one of my all-time favorites, esp side 1 (on vinyl, of course), so I voted for it. But I love Voyage of the Acolyte a lot too. Fortunately other voters are giving it the votes it deserves.

Steve Hackett Voyage of the Acolyte
When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.
