OK, The Residents now appear on the archives.  Go under R and you'll find them listed 3 times, this is an error that is to be fixed, but the 3rd listed is the correct one as albums are being added to that.  Max should be fixing this anytime as well.  Also under T "The Residents" appears like 5 times, ignore this as that is also an error.  Anyways I'm adding all of the albums myself so don't worry about that, just please review if you have any of them that are there already!

Oh, not happy with the classification though. RIO/Avant-Prog would surely be more appropriate?

Nah - I was only joking in the light of all the stupid unjustified comments about Queen recently.

You should know me better - I almost always justify what I say if I'm serious.

No bites on the wind-up then

Oh sorry Certif1ed, I'm not familiar with all of this Queen junk, I have no idea why anyone would argue against them being here, so I don't even open the threads.

I would pick RIO/Avant Prog because that's closer than Electronic Prog Music, but I didn't want to slap The Residents with the Canterbury title because that's surely not them.  Now, if Max made RIO/Avant separate from Canterbury (which I have no idea why that's not the case), then this can surely be changed.  But I tagged them as electronic, because you can't argue the fact that they're like 90% electronic.

Sorry to have hijacked your thread in a moment of levity - I hope that by replying it draws more attention to this new inclusion

But by the same token, they're hardly Kraftwerk are they? I'd say the RIO connection is too strong to ignore.

Posts like this won't win you many favours here. They're a band with a small but dedicated following whose inclusion on this site is long overdue. So yeah, Retro cares, I care and a lot of others care too. Take your snide remarks elsewhere.

Why don't you try Post Punk, would be more exact. Not every weird band is necesarilly Prog.
