I don't see why not.  I actually order quite a bit from the UK Amazon from the US with no problems.  I think the only thing you can't order would be electronics and mp3s.  But CDs, DVDs (as long as you have the right kind of player) and books, you should be able to order.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

wasnt sure about shipping costs......as i think even though i've seen something- a robert pollard CD- with postage from US would be about $ 4.23.....which is about £ 2.67 here....not sure if there is also a surcharge.......cause if thats the case its silly not to buy it at that price......i suppose the only catch would be waiting longer for it.

The UK ships pretty quickly for me, I usually only have to wait about a week.  Don't know if there will be any kind of surcharge (like UK VAT).  When I order from the UK, they actually take the VAT off the price, which usually about covers the shipping.  Of course, you have one advantage, you're converting from pounds to dollars, instead of vice versa.

Yes. I've been able to order loads of CD's from Amazon.com in the in past. You just have to wait a little longer to receive stuff from the US suppliers, and even then turn around time can be surprisingly quite fast. Depends on the supplier.

Not trying to put you off, but just watch out for import VAT on goods worth more than £15. As well as paying VAT you have to pay a Royal Mail handling charge.
