Hello, it's been a while since I've last posted here. My insatiable curiosity has led me to yet another song I would like to know. I heard it yesterday on a radio, but it wasn't as close (and loud) as I would like to to understand lyrics better (and then google it to get the name).

It is a pop song. I've heard it on waves for a while, so it will be probably from late 90s or early 00s.
Woman is singing it, sounds a bit like Shakira (I mean it can be her, I'm not familiar with her work).

If I could, I would hum it to you (would make things clearer).

few words from lyrics I was able to hear (may not be exactly like that)

<it's from bridge>
when you (fall into love? 're ready to fall?)
don't give up (on your pain? gain?)

<and ending of bridge> - cause that's the (way it is?)

Would like to give you more clues, but cannot.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"
