ZEUHL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Last round of qualifiers for the Japanese! Two lesser known projects here again. Here's the bracket: The bands in question are: RYOKO ONO vs. SEKKUTSU JEAN ^That's not original content (she is the sax player on Sax Ruins), but it gives a sense of her style Poll ends August 17th.

Two very little known projects here. I had heard one song of Ryoko's before this poll and nothing of Sekkutsu. Both have Yoshida's influence, with Ryoko a collaborator of Sax Ruins, and Sekkutsu being practically a Ruins offshoot with a different bass tone.
I'll have to listen to a bit more before voting.

Sekkutsu Jean. And it's not quite a Ruins offshoot, as he only generally plays a mean 4-string instead of 5+.

I have heard Sekkutsu Jean's self-titled, but not Ryoko Ono's Undine. I would like to, though. Here's a review at jazzmusicarchives by js (don't think he'd object to me copy-pasting his review here):

This has fallen a bit down the line in the poll section, oops. It was supposed to end today but I got backed up so tomorrow will be the day.

Get your votes in, last few hours. Ryoko moves on if it's still a tie.
