You need to send a message to an admin, though I'm not sure which one specifically.

If you change it, it helps to put a little note in your signature that says, "formerly known as..."

When choosing a username it is important to choose wisely.  I was surprised this one wasn't taken already.  Now that I have it, it's for keeps.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I've been on the Amazon customer forums, and it's very easy to change your screen name.  Fun to mess with peoples' heads now and then but I admit it's pretty annoying when that privilege is abused.

That said, if I could do it all over, I'd call myself something other than HolyMoly, but I can live with it.

I liked what one version of SMF did. It would let you change your screenname, but your user name was fixed, so if you clicked on the member profile, it would show who you really were.

In fact, now that I think about, SMF is superior to web wiz, vBulletin, and phpBB by a long shot., mainly due to it's extensibility and security. You guys should think about changing over. It can import all the forum info.

By far the quickest way of changing the forum software is to go somewhere where the software you desire is being used.

What?
