I have been attending the "Night of the prog"-festival in recent years, because of the excellent line-ups. It's definately not because of the location (I live in Nor-away). The line-ups have been just up my alley, and I was wonderiing if you had any wishes for this year.
My own are as follows:
Sylvan (their latest album is enormous)
Mostly Autumn (I have never seen them myself)
Gazpacho (a favourite of mine , and of the people who arrange the festival)
Pain of Salvation (headliner maybe)
Arena (a more than welcome comeback)
A reunion.......it will never happen in my lifetime!!

Hi,

I wish I had a chance to see something like this ... over here in the NW part of the US there is no progressive ... just country and those against country that call it ... grundge!

This area here is not very good on music at all and the local orchestras only play the same old thing that is 300 to 400 years old ... they wouldn't know what new music is!
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

While you're in the NW US complaining that there is no Prog, it is so scarce here in Ohio that I'm actually jealous of your scene out there! San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, etc, all have really good prog bands.
