Does "signed status" mean that any band I submit for addition to the archives has to be officially signed to a label?  Because I know an independant artist (At Sea) who I think would be an excellent addition to the archives.  He distributes his music without any record company to use as a middleman; all his recordings are available for download on bandcamp (for free!) and I think he also distributes CDs by special request.  I thought it would be okay for me to submit him because I think Epignosis does something similar, but I wanted to make sure.
