The all-time top100 really need to be changed. A top100 of the best prog album of all time based on the number of review is insane. Four Dream Theater album in top15! Train of Thought #8?! Scene from a memory #7?! Images and word #10?! Octavarium #14?! Come on, are they really better than Fragile, Lamb lie down on Broadway, Wish you were here, Nursery Cryme, Red, Moving Pictures, Animal, Mirage, Brain Salad Surgery and Thick as a Brick?...

I'd propose it to be based on the prog reviewer rating. If they were chosen to be reviewer, they must know a lot of music, and have more opinion than a guy who came here saying 'DREAM THEATER IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'. For example, Anglagard Hybris, got 13 prog reviwer out of 15 giving this album 5 stars. The 2 others gave it 4 stars. So it must be a great album, no doubt about it. Train of thought got 3 five stars out of 7. ToT is #8, Hybris #47 is There's something wrong.

I'll also quote something I saw in a recent review of Octavarium, and that isn't wrong after all.

 DREAM THEATER - Octavarium (2005)

2 stars  —   I dont see why this album is rated so why- one of the reasons may be becasue its a breath of fresh air after the horrible train of thought album. But to see this album in the top 15 albums of all time is just asinine- it really makes me question the credibility of this site- i mean- wow- this album is nothing special- and yet its top 15 already- thats rather pathetic- horrid lyrics- so so music add up to nothing special- and certainly nothing ground-breaking- 2 stars- if that

Vive le Québec libre!...

I say scrap the whole f**king system. That list is pointless and does nothing but upset people. Why not just list some highly respected essential albums for newbies to look into in the definition area?

Sorry guys but I can only tolerate this opinion! I agree with it, no need to make a drawing to say that Dream Theater has nothing to do in the top 15 list

it really makes me question the credibility of this site-

I won't say that, I let the responsablity of it to people who include the (pseudo) metal prog genre in the archives. I just openely think that it is a huge mistake.

PSEUDO? No way mate..there are too many great prog metal bands out there..and prog metal does exist as a genre either you like it or not.
