Someone went and gave every single Aube album a one star. No reviews or anything.

Action and counter-action my dear Sheavy. If this becomes habit, e.g. if he do this hundred of times, well that's easy case of rating abuse, but just for couple of albums, I don't know if there's something admins can do.

Look, I don't do this kind of behaviour and I certainly don't like when someone rates like that. But for rating deleting, we need proofs, we need to convince them.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

If someone is going to seriously rate an album surely writing a hundred words or more about that album is not beyond feasible. Should we allow ratings that are purely ratings without justification of those ratings?
I could easily go and give every hardcore tech metal band here a 1 rating because I just do not like that type of music but in order to be fair to other peoples tastes and preferences I don't do that. (lol, I keep trying to find merit in tech metal and will keep trying until I've conquered my inherant dislike of it).
Any rating that I give must be fully and coherently justified, I believe. Could we perhaps do away with just purely rating an album without 100 word or more justification?

Well I could understand if the artist was one that got a lot of attention and has a lot of reviews, but for a unknown artist, those one star ratings could put people off from getting some of his work, when they might actually like it. I would agree with it if he had only rated a couple of albums. But seriously, every single one? I do not believe that whoever it is that did that really went through and listened to all those albums after not liking the first couple he listened to, and on top of that, a lot of those are seriously hard to find releases. I just do not think it is fair to the artist to have what is obviously, a hate boy rage.

Those were done when I was very new to reviewing on the site Ouch. Am quite happy to rectify.

I don't think anyone needs to rectify giving Garage Inc. 1 star
