Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Everything after that was descended from it in some way so why even bother?

Moving Pics ?   The Wall is a good answer too.   I suspect there wasn't really a last Prog album any more than there was a first, though it did seem to recede faster than it grew.
