Punching Robots

We are 3 piece Tech/Prog Metal/Electronica band from the east midlands, england influenced by Dream theater, Protest the hero, Mastodon, The fall of troy, sky eats airplane and enter shikari. We have been defining and refining our style and muscianship for around 2 years now. Currently we have 10 tracks recorded, with multiple others in the pipeline.

Our style consists mainly of odd time passages with a focus on interesting and unique rhythms (We hope). We also take pride in trying to make the songs as difficult to pull off as possible (Hopefully they get more complex as our skills improve)
The way we write is quite unorthodox as the 3 of us write as a rhythm section then we program midi synths lines to fill out and add melody. We manage this live by myself (Drums) playing to a programmed click with the synths coming through logic pro via a macbook then through the front of house speakers. This adds a second level of diffulcty to playing our tracks and set as we have to play perfectly in time to a ever fluctuating click track)

The reason we joined Prog Archives (Well the main reason) is to get feedback from a more knowledgable source about our material, we enjoy improving and evolving and i know that the people here will have the know-how to help influence our path of progression.

Thank you greatly in advance.
