The Loser's Round winner versus the winner of the tournament proper-it all comes down to this! I'm looking at an exciting matchup, here! FIVE days to vote! ONE winner! COMMENCE!

Dark Side most definitely. Seriously, I love that album too much not to vote for it, especially when I haven't really gotten to know Animals.
All your hearts now seem so far from me,
It hardly seems to matter now.

Love Animals, but it's so bitter - have to be in the mood for it.  Dark Side seems to work anytime.  I'd still listen to Piper over either of them though... Wink

I'm pulling for Animals myself. It's gonna be a close one, though, I can feel it!

Animals. I always thought DSOTM was slightly overrated but still amazing.

Animals. My favorite PF album.

Yeah I agree...

The 2 Pigs On The Wings are fun track with nice lyrics but nothing more...
Dogs is a complete masterpiece...
Sheep is good but get boring after 3 minutes, the keyboard intro and the outro riff are awesome tho...
It's a bit the same thing with Pigs, nice intro and nice solo but get boring in the middle part.

While Dark Side is awsome from the first heart beat till the last one.

Dark Side Of The Moon. For me the best prog music ever created.

Dark Side of the Moon (#4 in my list of PF studio albums, 5 stars) above Animals (#6, 4 stars).

Dark Side.

I'm still surprised to found so much love of Animals here ... to me it's very very boring album.

These albums could both be removed from my collection without notice in at least months, but I must say Animals is at least a good a prog album. It amazes me how both albums are higher rated then the original debut and the artistic Atom Heart Mother.

I'm too floydian. Those are the two Floyd albums I listen less.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

The meaning of DSOTM to the whole music scene is obvious, it came out  at the right moment. Animals came 4 years later and lots and lots of good prog music was published between. And in PF catalogue Animals is just an average prog album.

I do agree when talking about Atom Heart Mother. It's a masterpiece and much better than Dark or Animals.
