A new member! Just what everyone needed! ..Right?

Haha, I suck at subject titles. Anyway I'm obviously new so I guess this should be my first stop.

Prog. is by far my favorite genre of music, and I thought I had some solid knowledge on it.. until I registered here, anyway. You people are freakin' crazy. I respect that greatly and envy your insane amounts of prog. obsessiveness.

My favorite band is Tool... yes, they are very overrated by many people but I love them and will not judge a band based on their fan base. Otherwise I would absolutely hate Dream Theater.

Random bands that I also like (because I feel like typing more)

Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, Supertramp, Led Zeppelin, Porcupine Tree, Lamb of God, Slayer, Deep Purple, Camel, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix Experience, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Bad Religion, and The Who... these were all off the top of my head so don't crucify me for leaving <insert your favorite band here> out

Anyway I guess that's it, I'll try my best to learn and not make any naive statements about a genre which I obviously did not know as much about as I had thought.

Well, you will. As for the song-tracker thing, if you have a last.fm account and you scrobble with iTunes or some other music-playing program, you can go to www.progfreak.com and get an account there (it's fast, trust me) and then get a custom signature for yourself.
