Just becoming involved in a prog rock (ish) project based in Stratford and looking for a keyboard player and guitarist for writing, gigs and possibly recording to join the current members Bass - drums - sax / guitar (which is me) - we are all 50 ish.

Good to find this forum - and I hope it will lead to finding the rest of the line up and be a place to share ideas.

The new band is shaping up well: jampa17 on guitars, keyboards and synths – and doing some writing. Guatemala – that’s just outside Worcester isn’t it?) DamoXt7942 singing with a distorted voices (Japan? Is that Lancashire? Geography is not my strong point!) and lazland on Welsh air guitar (after having been plied with ale).

And in the real world the three current members of the band have started to play around with some standards – Owner of a Lonely Heart, Calling All the Heroes and Congo. Not massively sophisticated at present – and a bit thin with only three. But we are up and running and inviting others to join us … preferably who are (a) musicians and (b) live a bit closer than south America (or is that central?)

I own a Hammond L122 & Leslie 145 (can't play the bloody thing, but I own it), I love the midlands (especially Birmingham Canal Network), am rather partial to a pint of Batham's mild & love black pudding... can I play too??

Need a flautist?

I should probably specify: sub-standard flautist.

I live in the Midlands too!

It's taken me a while to get there, but I'm finally living the dream.
