russian band, mainly playing melodic prog metal but also using ingredients from other genres (psychedelic, folk, art rock) - rather nice songs with good female vocals

It was a real surprise to hear a band from one of the most far-off (and maybe a bit left behind) part of Russia. As the history of Western and Russian progressive/metal scenes are not comparable, this piece of music really gives some hope to renaissance of progressive music in Russia.

However, although I haven't listened all the songs yet, it seems that they differ very much from each other. My favourite one so far - Начало Конца ('The Beginning of the End') - is beyond doubt an original and powerful progressive song, as some tracks are more melodic and resemble rather some pop songs. By the way, 'Шаг назад' (A step backward) is a really good track as well.

In general I liked it, especially due the fact this music is produced in Russia (and not in Moscow or Saint Petersburg). I am not personally a great metal fan, though. Not understanding the words in this case (which probably disturbes many people who don't know Russian) is rather a privilege, as I dare to say they did not add anything special - the best tracks in my opinion were the instrumental ones.

Good luck, I hope you have a great future ahead!
