Topic: The Hannah Montana Appreciation Thread Posted: November 09 2009 at 17:54
Hannah Montana is one of the greatest musicians I've ever heard! She can write songs with 3 or 4 chords in them, and she can even attempt singing! She deserves the millions and millions of dollars pouring into her bank account every day! Songs like this are so carefully written and take so much thought and time to write:
Face it, that's one of the greatest songs I've ever heard! Did you hear that guitar solo? That's so much better than anything Steve Howe, John Petrucci, or Steve Hackett can play! So give her some of the respect she deserves! And if you say anything mean about Hannah Montana I will strangle you with my bear hands!
And remember- we can't insult her for another year

It should be Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana is the name of her character in the TV show.
She doesn't write her songs, and I'd like to see you do that. I bet you assume she's stupid too, like the rest of PA, but what basis do you have for that? That she makes more money than you ever will? Because that seems to me a proof of the inverse.

The Miley signatures will return when the deadline for her to reopen her Twitter is closer, there are still several more images from the Elle photoshoot I can use. Or if she does something skanky again. Which will happen again soon.
I changed it because I got tired of looking at the same thing and I couldn't think of another clever line to replace it with without the circumstances changing.
If you're curious, apparently there is some drama about her calling Jay-Z "pop music" in a Halloween interview. This is the excerpt, I didn't think her answer was very shocking, but the rest of the interview was even more boring because she kept talking to the little kids. For some reason she's not very coherent in this interview, I think she had too much booze or candy for Halloween. :/
I liked this interview a lot because you can tell he's completely intimidated by her, when he is a grown man and she is a sixteen year old girl.

^^You have quite an obsession, don't you Henry
The first interview was kind of funny that she could call Jay-Z pop music, and then state she doesn't like "that type of music". What type of music does she think she is?

Well she doesn't listen to Jay-Z, she listens to Alanis Morissette (or something like that, I don't remember what it was I was reading her twitter at 2am) and John Lennon, and I think her other songs don't sound like that (not that I've heard many), so it's not a completely unfair thing to say.
What interested me is in that interview she said she wants her new album to be songs that she is 100% proud of as an artistic statement, and wanting to work with Melissa Etheridge, which I assume will not happen. Listening to the samples of her new EP, and believe me, voluntarily listening to her is not something I take lightly, this apparently means pop-rock instead of Hannah-esque dance pop. So her artistic identity is a g-rated Avril Lavigne?
Also, AMG has positive reviews of her albums, and the new EP is Walmart exclusive, lolololol
