Beto Guedes : A Página do Relâmpago Elétrico  (1977)

there is record retailer in Paris who sells returns or unsold CD's quite cheap and open on sunday!! so once a week I go there and normally I find something interesting.....last time I came home with the CD above by :
Beto Guedes and lucky I was, the first solo record by this Brazilian violonist, singer and composer....beautiful athmospheric compositions reminding sometimes early Genesis or Atnhony Phillips  with lots of Moog, 12 string and counterpoint galore. Most of the tracks are sung with BG integrating his voice into the sophisticated compositions with long instrumental passages and 3 great instrumentals

I would be interested to learn more about his discography., it's not easy to find documents in English about him...the CD above came as a twofer with Alma de Borracha a 1988 record which is good but more mainstream Brazilian Pop rock

Tadpoles keep screaming in my ear
"Hey there! Rotter's Club!
Explain the meaning of this song and share it"
