Hi all,
New on this forum... very nice place to visit. I have been using Prog Archives for a while now but not the forum.

I am setting up my own website using google sites with all types of music that I like (some of interest here, others probably not) - so, Space Rock, Krautrock, Kosmische, Prog, Heavy, Fusion etc.

The idea is to have some background info on the albums (much of what you can probably find here), some multimedia if available publically, and reviews. Its not meant to be anything big, but something more personal.

Google sites is quite limited at present, but I have put quite a bit of content, if not much detail yet.

Feedback and comments are welcome (there is a place to do this on the front page). Navigate at the side to different genres.

Thanks

Matt

Anyone have any ideas of what albums and what material to add to the site? I anticipate full reviews (like prog archives), album details, artwork, youtube vids if available. Maybe a comment section for each album? I guess maybe it gets too much like a basic prog archives site...but there will be other genres included....should be a balance between visitor interest and personal interest, i guess.

Cheers

Matt

Nice work, Matt Smile

I had a look and could detect some entries and reviews about more obscure artists which I just try to get familiar with - THE VOCOKESH for example was added by me some weeks ago - great band! And FARFLUNG is cleared and will be added soon to the PA database ...

It's always interesting to explore sites which are hosting bands from the space/krautrock realm ...  Cool

Thanks Rivertree.

Yes, there will be a lot of stuff already reviewed, analysed, dissected and psychobabbled already. I can always give my own thoughts on those.

The more interesting items will probably be under the Underground Music section, which really covers the Free Festival type bands from 80's and 90's (centred on the Ozric Tentacles related bands and beyond). I have included artwork that I have and hope to get more info up in the future and make it a lot more comprehensive.

Cheers
