Does that mean that E isn't working with the LP these days?
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

What`s he going to be playing? I think L and P have their own gigs. I saw P a couple of summers ago playing with a couple of kids and all they did was E,L and P stuff on guitar drums & bass. Wasn`t bad but it just seemed like an EL and P tribute band. I like Ls solo stuff and the fact that he does a lot of charity work. I just finished E`s book Pictures Of An Exhibitionist. I bought it when it first came out but never got around to reading it until just recently. If E comes to Montréal I`ll definitely go and see him. Doesn`t matter what he plays. London Bridges Falling Down, Rondo fanfare classical stuff. The guy`s what 65 this year? I don`t think he`s going to be throwing Hammond organs around the stage anymore.

I would hope that there would be more U.S shows to come. It's been awhile since his last tour.

Saw them in Moscow, almost 3-hour show was awesome.
I remember my thought after the gig: "E is the only irreplaceable letter in ELP abbreviation".

^wow that's a quite great list! Fanfare for The Common Man, if it's the version of Works, then it should be pretty awesome, as well as Tarkus, Hoedown, and all the classics listed there.

^ Add here Keith's famous Moog, organs, synths, grand piano, solid rhythm section, big collection of Bonilla's guitars...

I also like a lot the way Emo talks to audience - it is full of respect to his listeners and, at the same time, with a good sense of humour. Clap

Great, finally a chance to see Keith Emerson live! Big smile

Like Vibrationbaby, I saw Carl Palmer live a few summers ago. But it would be a real treat to see KE live as well!

I guess E is still at it. But how is E going to do Lucky Man without L? Can`t see anyone else doing that one except L.

^ Lucky Man without L sounded well live. Marc Bonilla does not try to copy Lake, but his voice suits perfectly to the music in live environment.

From the other hand, I had great expectations from new Keith Emerson Band album with Bonilla. It is probably the best Keith solo album, but something's missing. I think Lake's voice expresses wider spectrum of emotions.

Personally after seeing Keith and Mark live a few times, I thought Lucky Man without the L sounded like crap.  I heard Dave Kilminster do it with Keith also... and that was even worse.  Mark also does From the Beginning... and besides the voice.. his guitar just doesn't sound as good.  But I just love Bitches Crystal.

I saw Glenn Hughes attempt Lucky Man, which wasn't bad, but no one beats Greggie.
